“ I have always felt empowered by the Nature. I can spend endless time by the ocean, sitting at the beach watching the waves come and go … or sailing in our little yacht, drifting with the clouds. I can’t seem to have enough of it. I draw my inspiration from the Nature - the abundance of light and life, its subtle blessings and eternal justice… ”

The two sides of me

I have two passions - pottery and sailing

I live with my beloved family just north of Auckland in sunny Gulf Harbour, an epicenter of yachting in Auckland the City of Sails. This is where I practice my psychology, yoga, clay artistry and teach my pottery workshops. As a family, we love spending our weekends exploring the islands on our little yacht “Euphoria”.

Hailing from the South of Russia, just north of the Black Sea, Natalia is an artist and a therapeutic counsellor. She is a psychologist by her first trade with over 15 years of experience in clinical environment as well as in private counseling. She has worked with families, teenagers and children practicing behavioral analysis and art therapy.

In 2016, she decided to make New Zealand her new home, a place where she was able to dedicate herself to the study of pottery as an art. Natalia aspired to become a Clay Artist to fulfill her long term passion for creativity, to enhance and complement her practice as an Art Therapist by this ancient, earthly and fulfilling craft. With its calm pace and the use of natural clay, pottery provides the much needed relief in our hectic times.

“ These days we are surrounded by social networks, screaming of new trends and technologies, to the point that we get easily overwhelmed, scattered, lost, and discouraged. We want to be complete and have our true personal moments of joy, but in this barrage of visual, sensual and auditory overstimulation with the only message - consume! we cannot figure out what is our own, and what is imposed onto us. My mission is to help men, women and children find their center, their true self through the magical art of pottery - guiding them with gentle direction, empathy, and complicity…”
