Workshop Questions
Anything you wanted to know about the workshops
What if I have no experience? Will I be able to do it?
Absolutely! Our Pottery Studio Workshops are designed for beginners.
I will guide you step by step to ensure your success.
How long does it take to get my finished piece?
Your piece will take approximately 3-4 weeks to go through the drying, firing, and glazing process.
How will I know when my piece is ready?
I will notify you by email or message as soon as your piece is ready for pickup.
What’s the difference between using the pottery wheel and hand-building?
- Pottery wheel: Create smooth, symmetrical forms like mugs or bowls using spinning clay.
- Hand-building: Sculpt your piece manually, allowing for more creative shapes and textures.
Is painting of my piece included in the workshop price?
Yes, painting your piece is included in the workshop fee.
However, the painting must take place on another day - to allow your piece dry properly first.
Are there any extra fees for firing, glazing, or painting?
No, everything is included in the price—materials, firings, glazing, and painting.
How should I prepare for the workshop? What should I bring?
- Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy.
- Bring a positive attitude and a readiness to have fun!
- All materials and tools will be provided, so there’s no need to bring anything else.
